Binders slamming on the desks

Everyone talking about their plans

Only one thing I want to do
Blah blah blah
There’s nothing else I need to do
Blah blah blah
Nothing else I’d rather do
Blah blah blah

The bell is ringing, slow and steady
Ring ring ring
Children running down the halls
Ring ring ring
Noises floating down the halls
Ring ring ring
I’m almost there, out of the halls
Ring ring ring

Then I’m out the door, running home
Thump thump thump
Each step takes me closer still
