Flurries of snow came drifting down,

Towards the welcoming ground.

First a little, then more, and more,

Until the whole surface was blanketed.

The snow keeps on coming,

Gaining confidence and strength,

With each wind.

Finally racing around everything.

A blizzard has struck,

Snow, the only ones enjoying this frantic race.

Around and around they sped,

Until Mother Nature quieted them down.

Oh, how the young snow loves to play,

With not a care in the world.

But soon will learn their self-control,

To give the world its worthy peace.
